The OptiTorque 10267 TorqueMaster Turbo Exhaust Stud Kits are 100% manufactured with pride in the USA. Crafted from vacuum-melted micro-alloyed American-manufactured HSLA steel, each OptiTorque TorqueMaster fastener is heat treated and undergoes a proprietary tempering process to achieve a fine grain structure prior to thread rolling. The coarse threaded (block) end of the fastener features a bottoming boss, eliminating the purchase of special tools to “hold” the fastener during installation. These premium exhaust studs use ALL available factory block threads to distribute stress loads and are fully stress-relieved prior to centerless grounding for maximum straightness. The TorqueMaster Series fasteners feature the greatest stretch area in their price class, optimizing cycle fatigue properties. Each fastener is hot temperature oiled and brilliant black oxide coated for protection.
